ShopData’s cutting software comes with three levels of part / piece nesting: manual, rectangular and advanced shape nesting.  While all three provide superb material optimization, only shape nesting offers advanced algorithms to generate the lowest percentage of scrap by matching interlocking angles and contours. Nesting within the scrap (or cutouts) of other pieces for maximum precision is standard with ShopData’s advanced shape nesting.
